Has/did anyone used this during pregnancy ?

Says it’s safe to use when pregnant but to call dr. I’m just a bit embarrassed to ring and ask. I know it’s just precaution they HAVE to put that on the box, says to ring a dr about taking painkillers when pregnant too. I just want to know if anyone else has. X

I had thrush during pregnancy and I was only allowed the pessary and it was a bigger dose than normal so I’d ring up gp and ask 😊

Why are you embarrassed? It’s a very common thing for most women especially in pregnancy, I would just call for reassurance but if it says it’s safe in pregnancy then you shouldn’t have an issue. I think they advise against the tablet form and pessary though, from what I remember. I did use the purple canesten cream under my boobs during pregnancy and that was fine. But that obviously wasn’t going inside my body. By the way your prescriptions are free if you’re in the UK during pregnancy and 12 months postpartum and the NHS prescribe canesten products x

Don’t be embarrassed but I’ve used the cream out of this box in my pregnancy just not the pessary but my midwife advised me to use it so I know it’s safe x

I used it during my pregnancy- cream and pessary. My midwife recommended it so I knew it was safe :) Worked really quickly too

I used this!! My midwife told me to send my partner because they might not have sold it to me because I was pregnant lol

The external cream is fine but I’d double check about the internal stuff as I’ve been told different things. Most trusted source if you don’t want to go to the GP is to call and ask a pharmacist (if you call you can remain anonymous if you’re a bit shy about it)
