Midwife suggestions Dallas
Hi! I’m moving back to Dallas and have been seeing a certified nurse midwife in Washington. I found midwife and co in Dallas and got an appointment with them, but they have a $750 fee that is not coverable by insurance- otherwise, my insurance will cover and is really good.
Any recommendations or other ideas for birth? I want a hospital birth but like the idea of a midwife to avoid unnecessary interventions

Perhaps you can just hire a doula. They are way less expensive because they aren’t doctors but, they are big time advocates in the hospital. I recommend Shelly Britain https://www.birthingnaturallydfw.com/

Midwifery isn’t insurance friendly in Tx. I paid for everything out of pocket. If you decide to go that route. I highly recommend Teri or Teree from Bundleborn Midwifery in Frisco
