We’ve been doing it for a while. Prep his formula, then top up with milk to cool it off. Since my boy has no patience
We have been giving her the past month a little Bit here and there to try in a sippy cup. She’s one in two weeks and nearly finished her tub of formula so just going to go fully cows milk in the next week too
I’ve started giving my little boy 6oz cows milk in the morning and 6oz formula on an evening for the past couple of days til his tin is finished, he will be 1 on Thursday coming and he has water with meals and I offer water throughout the day x
Thanks everyone😊 I’ll have to use soya milk as my LO has a cows milk allergy and I can’t start the milk ladder until she’s had other allergies confirmed so we’ll be continuing with the formula until were told to stop it but in the meantime I’ll be giving her soya milk for weetabix and in her formula just so it’s not a shock for her😊x
Havw you been using soya in food too? We have been using oat in her cereal but got the last 10 tins of prescription milk so she can wean onyo it gradually
@Emma-louise She’s been eating the Alpro yogurts which are soya based as she’s got a suspected oat allergy so I can’t use oat milk until we’ve had that allergy confirmed or denied. Sadly we aren’t seeing the allergist till sometime after the new year x
My LG was only having 8oz formula before bed so changed it to 9oz cows milk, no issues, she’d much rather food x
I’ve started adding an oz to her bottles this week, I’m gonna up it this week! Remember once they start taking less than 450ml of formula they advise you to supplement with vitamins!
o do mix sometimes cows milk with formula because my little one doesn’t drink warm milk..i prep formula and add a bit of cows milk from the fridge
