Self feeding
My baby refuses to hand feed himself. Any tips? He's not a picky eater but will wait for me to come back.

Maybe if you model it for him? Eat finger foods for a few meals, so when you eat together, he's more likely to mimic you.
What happens if you put food in front of him but don't feed him? Just eat your meal and let him watch you

I was radical and only fed him for allergen introduction purposes ... So he's been introduced to feeding himself for a while 😎🤣🤣🤣

Just a lot of patience and practice. My son sometimes still only wants me to feed him. I stopped putting him in his high chair and just have a plate or I’ll put whatever he’s eating in my hand so he can grab it.
