I really have concluded most of them are from Mars. And it’s fucking exhausting. My OH does absolutely nothing when he’s home alone with our daughter and if he wants to leave the room he shuts her in the sitting room and then moans she’s trashed it and gets upset she’s shut in 🤦♀️
YES, I could have written exactly this myself!! It drives me round the fucking bend!! So glad it’s not just me. Honestly I find it easier when he goes away for the weekend because then all I have to think about is me, my LG and the dogs. I know I’m going to be doing everything when he’s away so I just get on with it and all runs very smoothly. Bit sad really because surely it should be the other way round if anything 🤷♀️ I guess some men have it and some don’t, and when say ‘it’ I’m referring to both paternal instinct and common sense 😂
YES i'm in the same boat. I snap at him constantly for being lazy or not responding to my LB emotional needs promptly or doing anything around the house. Don't even get me started about getting up at night if lil man wakes up. His answer is he just loves you more that's why he wants you all the time.
My husbands the same and honestly 🫠🫠🫠 he was rushing me to get ready and getting really uppity about it literally just so he could go to the toilet, I said “just take her upstairs and close the baby gate so she’s safe and keep the toilet door open what do you think I do when I have her all day” 😂 apart from laughing it off now it really is draining to have to lead/sort/think for everyone I’ve even openly talked to him about it. It’s laziness
