Puramino formula! Has anyone used it? Experience?

Baby’s pediatrician has recommended puramino formula as she might have cmpa. We were earlier using Nutramigen but she said we have to use the even more hypoallergenic formula. Any experienced users? Did baby take it nicely as she said that is not the best tasting formula? How about the availability? Thanks.

My baby wouldn't take it she just gagged from the taste, but she also did the same with Nutramigen so if yours will tolerate that maybe they'll be okay with it. My baby ended up on soy formula and it was a lifesaver. It's very sweet and dairy free.

Didn’t work for my son. My baby threw up on it. And it was the first time he ever threw up. That’s when I knew it wasn’t for him. He’s on Nutramigen now and it’s been working great. My first son was on Alimentum and Nutramigen. I wish you lived near me. I would give you the 2 cans I have. Baby formula can’t be sold on fb so it was taken down. 😓 now they are just sitting in my kitchen.

My son had CMPA, and Nutramigen was the best. Honestly, if you can, just stick to the Nutramigen. I’ve tried other hypoallergenic formulas and my son hated them all besides Nutramigen.

Tried them all. He was fine with it. I would do what your pediatrician says because if it needs to be the more hypoallergenic one and there's a reason for it. It helps their insides heal quicker and it works faster and helping them feel better. The ones that are less hypoallergenic take longer to help them. So we worked our way through all of them. And the one he stayed on the longest once the bleeding and healing had happened was the similac alimentum. The availability was pretty good because you get a prescription for it so the pharmacies can order it for you. Found the two that you said easier to get a hold of because not as many people use them compared to the similac brand is more popular
