Weaning and dropping feeds?

My LG is 7 months and only just starting to show interest in food. With each meal she is eating more and more but one thing I’m not sure with is when and what bottle to start dropping? Morning, midday or evening? I would appreciate some insight into some weaning journeys ☺️

Just see which bottle she isn't as interested in. With my son it was the morning bottle so that was the first to drop

We have dropped the midday bottle first, so she has solids for lunch, and now she is starting to drop the morning bottle as well. 🥰

Let them lead the way with bottles, don’t just cut them out. We were on 2 meals a day at 7 months and 3 bottles. But the oz he had in his afternoon bottle dropped from around 8oz to 5oz. Then around 8/9 months it dropped completely. He’s 15 months now and obviously on 3 meals and snacks and has only just dropped his second bottle x

They will naturally drop it over time or go longer between feeds z

Baby’s main form of nutrition must come from breast milk or formula for at minimum the first year, so I would offer bottle and then offer food after playing and digesting a bit. At this age it’s more to explore texture and taste and practice picking up pieces and spoons. “Food before one is just for fun” as they say 🙂

@Claire I agree with Claire’s comment, feedings for milk shouldn’t change unless they honestly don’t want it

My sons almost 11 months old and still on 3 bottles alongside 3 meals a day. Its recommended to always offer milk before food until they're 1 and if babies dropping below the required amount of milk in 24hrs I'd cut back on the food a bit x
