Christmas gifts

We’re asking for books so we can read to her appropriate to kids books vs what I’m currently reading lol and some interactive, educational toys for 3+ months. Outfits if the first two are boring

We’ve got her some tummy time mats and asked for 3-6 months clothes and a high chair from family. Might be a good idea to get baby plates and big, wipe down bibs for when she’s ready to wean. Obviously won’t be used straight away but still things we will need eventually

Clothes! Especially sizes that are slightly bigger, you will be surprised at how quickly you will need them.

I’ve bought a walker for a few months time, sensory toys, books and clothes in bigger sizes

We are buying toys, clothing etc. I know they always say “oh they are too young to remember” but I always say that we will remember

I’ve asked my parents for a piggy bank and a starlight projector for his room.

We don’t see the point of buying gifts for my little boy so asked for clothes. My mother in law arranged a photo shoot which we thought was a nice idea. Don’t get me wrong it was complete carnage trying to change a 6 week old into different outfits and we weren’t allowed his dummy as we were advised the photos would look better without so that created a lot of tears bless him, did get some nice shots though

Hi we are the same! We told our family if they wanted to get a gift then we would love it to be something that we could do with him and to make memories with him. So for example my sister in law paid for us to do a mini Christmas photo shoot, some family members will be putting money towards swimming lessons in January etc hope this helps xxx

@Amy good thinking it’s a long time between Christmas and 1st birthday so could ask for 6month + things we will need for the upcoming months x

@lauren oh lovely! I have a two year old also so I’ve asked family for money for days out for him as being on mat leave id love to get out more and while under 1 is free! Swimming lessons great idea! Thank you xx
