She's here!
Hi everyone.
Meet miss Heidi Jaine Pearl Bird .
Born by elective cesarean today at 10.02 am due to being breech, and supposedly SGA, plus me being on insulin for GD.
She weighed 6.6 ( predicted 6lb on Friday!)
And we are both doing well although this is the worst pain I have ever experienced in my entire life and that includes a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
C section wouldn't have been my choice if I had one, but she is oh so worth it

Aww congratulations! She’s a cutie… seems like a decent weight! This is your first section isn’t it? Much tougher recovery but best advice is to keep on top of your pain relief, have it regularly even if you feel fairly comfy and potter about as/when you can x
