Wow š³
My 3 year old has been going through phases of being REALLY difficult.
Heās going through one at the moment and itās just horrendous.
-Major tantrums!
-Not listening to a word we say
-Doing odd / out of character things
-Very difficult at bedtime, stalling sooo much
-Taking his brotherās dummies even though he gave his up perfectly fine even after his brother was born!
- being fussy with food!
-hitting, kicking, biting, throwing toys at the wall when heās having a tantrum!
- saying he wants to ābreak my bonesā š no idea where heās getting all this from!
But Iāve also noticed heās regressed in his speech too, more stuttering and getting his words all mixed up. I donāt know if this is a cause for concern? Or if itās a developmental thing? š©
Please tell me Iām not alone in this?
I know how you feel! My big boys behaviour has been horrendous since his little brother was born. All the same things that youāve said above. Heās always has a speech delay tho so I canāt comment on the regressed speech as weāve always struggled to understand what heās saying anyway š Iām not sure if thatās linked to increased tantrums? But weāve definitely seen the increase in tantrums and difficulties at bedtime since his little bro arrived. Iām just waiting it out tbh š„² He definitely behaves better when weāve been out the house doing things all day so he doesnāt get bored and just trying to spend as much one on one time with him as possible. The days where Iām not as present or struggling mentally myself I really notice a dip in his behaviour. Hang in their mumma! Weāve got this šŖš»
