Stopped saying mama
Hi, my little girl is almost 10 months old and is been a month she is saying mama as her first word. At the beginning was only when she was crying and looking for me and then at 9 months was everyday. She used to see me and saying mama. The last 2 days she stopped altogether saying mama. It’s like she forgot the word. Even when she is with someone else she will cry nonstop lift her arms for me to pick her up but will not say mama. I find it weird and I am a bit upset. Has anyone else happened this and for how long? Thanks

My little boy is 10 months in 2 days and has still never said mama at all which make me sad but I'm sure she will go back to saying it as you at least know she can say it x
They can ‘regress’ on things while learning something new and then it comes back. Mine has stopped saying mama and dada as shes all about ba ba ba at the moment
Thank you all, that was reassuring. @CeeCee yes I’ve noticed that the last two days she is making other sounds like nnn or klkl. @Gemma yes I’m sure she will say it soon 😊
