Donating all my girls stuff that they’ve had since they were born

So I have a toddler and infant and my toddler had the same toys since she was 3 so I wanted to buy them new things and ones they can share. I even made a wishlist on Elfster of what I want them to have. The thing is we ware also gonna visit my family in Cali (take roadtrip from the south to Cali for Christmas. We have a big family with a lot of kids so presents are inevitable. But I really want to make sure they get ALL those things on that list. Would y’all use the money for the roadtrip you were going to use to go see family or would stay home and just buy all the gifts on the wishlist? I really want to go see my family but I really want my girls to have all those things 😐 I would..

Also one of the stops on the way was to get an air bnb to rest before heading back on the road to my family

I would go to see family. The presents aren’t going anywhere you can buy them all year , family time is precious and might not be there tomorrow. Make memory’s for a lifetime , not toys for a few years 🫶🏼 If you really think back , what made your Christmas so special? I know for me I can’t even remember what I got but I do have all the memory’s we made together to this day

Definitely go see family. Christmas is just a day. You can get the toys at any time during the other 364 days of the year. Plus you being able to travel hundreds of miles across the country using a blessing. Not everyone has that luxury.

@Olivia the thing is my husband wouldn’t buy any of the things I put on there and I’m a sahm with no income😐 im the one who knows how they are and what would work for them so he doesn’t see it how I do. It’d be totally different if I had income coming in. Unfortunately money is the reason 😐 we’re at home more than we see them Thank you btw ❤️ the best part about Christmas was being with all my cousins and opening gifts together at midnight/playing with them🥺
