Milk alternatives

What milk alternatives are Mumma’s giving from cows milk? Think my baby’s allergic as at 12 months he came out in hives, runny clear nose, diarrhoea etc. We are using soya milk now, the 1-3yrs toddler milk, but it’s really sweet. We tried 3 formulas before 1yr and really don’t want to change but nurse was in my ear about being on goats milk. Anyone any reassurance or suggestions? X thank you

I use oat milk. Costco sells crates of Moma Barista style (which is fortified with added vitamins), 6 bottles for £7. Recently switched to the Alpro oat growing up as it has more calories per 100ml and my son was diagnosed with FTT so needs the higher intake. If he had such reactions to it, I’d avoid goats milk, however it’s strange that he only started presenting at 12 months. If you can, I would seek support from HV and/or GP as if it’s more allergy than intolerance, any kind of animal milk will be risky so almond/oat/soya etc will be your best bet x

We use oat milk (alpro growing up) my girl has several allergies and has recently been seen by an allergy consultant for skin prick testing. She said they need 350mg of calcium per day and that can be from alternative milk and different foods x
