Caesarean

I’m having my caesarean tomorrow afternoon for breech baby. Bang on 39 weeks! So so excited but I can feel the nerves are starting to creep in now too! 😬🤗

I had one on Monday. It is daunting, but they'll look after you and baby is out SO quick. Good luck! Not long until you meet your baby finally 🥳❤️

Me too. 😬 I’ll be 39wks also. From experience on the other side as a midwife it is very quick and the staff are lovely with trying to make you comfortable, they will listen to your wishes and make it as easy as they can for you. I hope all goes well for you, enjoy that baby bubble and even if you don’t sleep well for nerves, enjoy the last night of rest. 🥰 x

Aww Stacey you will feel the nerves kicking in but you will be is safe hands and once baby is out your emotions will take over! I had my c-section 2 weeks ago and I was nervous cos all the horror stories I had heard, but it was the best thing I did choosing a c-section as I had GDM snd cos of my age they said I would have to be induced and given this synthetic hormone which could have lead to emergency c-section. My only advice would be once you have had c-section and the numbness wears off just get up and walk as really does help with the recovery! All the best of luck for tomorrow and how exciting for you to meet your little bubba xx

Ahh thank you all for your kind words and advice. I am holding on to all the positive stuff i have been reading. Thankfully not really reading much negativity so that helps! 😁 I’m trying to stay as positive as I can 😅🥹

I had my section (due to baby being breech) last Monday and I felt exactly the same! The nerves and anticipation far outweigh what actually happens in theatre AND you’ll have your beautiful baby at the end of it. I hope it all goes well for you ❤️

I had mine this evening, honestly one of the best experiences of my life. The staff honestly are so lovely and with you every step of the way and just keep on top of the pain relief when ever you come out and you will be totally fine.

I had an unplanned / urgent c section and it was a still a really lovely experience. It happens so quickly, you feel nothing and meeting your baby is just as special, good luck xx
