Milk(need urgent answer)

Please help I don’t know what to do we have officially ran out of formula (which I thought would last up until baby turns 1 which is Monday) but I’ve been introducing cows milk with formula for a week and since I’ve ran out of formula I tried baby with cows milk and he’s not taking to it at all he’s waking with stomach ache crying in pain o don’t have any money till Friday to get formula (I feel like a shit mum) he uses milk as comfort through the night so from 9pm through to 6am he wakes for milk but won’t take more than an 1/oz of the cows milk is it worth me lending off family if I can to go get more formula or just try and continue with the cows milk please someone help me

Yes I would definitely continue with formula until he is taking the cows milk better, if you can. You’re not a shit mum. If you share which area you live in, maybe someone on here could help ❤️

@CeeCee I’ll have to see what I can do as he uses his milk of a night time as comfort so if he wakes of a night he has a bottle then back to sleep he goes so I’ve been trying to do it with cows milk he’s taking an 1-2oz and then refusing and screaming

Have you tried contacting local food bank which is linked to baby bank. They maybe able to give you some formula. I wouldn’t continue with cows milk if he is crying with stomach pain. Please do reach out to your family for help if you can. Hope your LO has a happy birthday on Monday. 💝

@Win no where is open right now for me to be able to ask and family are in same position as me and don’t have anything till Friday I’m like full on stressing out 🫣

You could try making the cows milk sweeter to match the taste of formula? Or could posting on Facebook in your local area group if anyone has any spare formula? you are not a shit mum, you’re doing everything you can to help your boy💖
