Mam X Teat
The last 2 months my little girl has been fussing at every feed, pushing our hands away, spitting out the bottle or shaking her head so the bottle comes out her mouth , I’m lucky if she drinks 3oz at a time whereas she used to down 6oz no fussing. I thought it may be the teat and she could be ready to move up from size 2. I saw the Mam X teat was good for babies fussing on the size 2 teat and the size 3 teat was too much of a fast flow. I’ve tried her on the X teat today and she’s ten times worse than before if that would of been possible, she’s been screaming and choking on every mouthful until I swap the teat over again and she’ll drink 3oz and be done. Has anyone had the same issue and what did they do, I feel at such a loose end as she’s almost 8 months and not drinking more than 3/4oz at a time, therefore her sleeping has been awful too. Any advice would be so appreciated x

@Louise she has porridge in the morning, then a small meal in the evening, she has been the worst sleeper since she has stopped finishing bottles too x
My four month old drinks from the size 3 mam teats with no issues x
I’m ngl, my little boy is 10 months and still has size 1 dr brown teats. The flow is so fast on all the others and it just pours out of his mouth!!! He drinks every bottle and I’ve never had issues with his milk intake. It kinda sounds like the teat is too fast of flow? The sizes are just guides and after trying to size up as my little boy got older, I could see how uncomfortable he was and he just didn’t want to have milk but back on size 1 and he’s great xx

How is her food intake, she may naturally be dropping because she’s getting enough food. If she isn’t then maybe worth trying to up food intake. Unless her weight is dropping or she is not having wet nappies, I wouldn’t worry too much x
