Pregnant test

Hey, I’ve done numerous pregnancy tests and all have had positive dark lines. I called the GP as I was constipated and bleeding from back passage and he suggested I did another pregnant test for my own reassurance but was convinced i am not miscarrying as my blood was one wipe only. I’m 5 weeks pregnant I’ve now got a faint line of positive. What does that mean?

Would your GP consider doing your HCG betas instead (bloods)... doing urine tests to check lines and things really isn't a consistant way of seeing the pregnancy processing, and 5 weeks is a little early for a viability scan.. I would, for piece of mind ask the GP to do your bloods and repete within 48hrs 💖🙏🏻.. They usually will do this if there's been discomfort or bleeds.. I hope all is okay 🙏🏻🙏🏻💖💖

To me that doesn’t look like a faint positive it looks like a dye stealer as the line closest to the bit you wee on is darker than the control line which is good!

@Anonymous Member @Dani I’ll ask my GP to do that but does this look like there’s a problem so far? X

I think there could be a number of reasons a pregnancy test is lighter than an original ones, different brands, urine output for the day (can be influenced by fluids, medications etc) like antihistamines have been known to mess with urine tests.. 😊 Do you have any thyroid issues?? This also can fluctuate our urine tests, and why doing bloods are more favourable.. For reassurance and the only way to definately track things, I think HCG betas would give you piece of mind 💖 Try not to stress too much! Our bodies are weird and wonderful things, but stress levels is something to definately avoid in our first trimesters 🙏🏻✨️ Wishing you sooo much luck xxx

@Dani thank you so much I really appreciate it ♥️♥️
