Anybody dealt with nj family care?

I submitted an application a month ago and still no update. The people on the phone are rude and won’t give a timeframe. Don’t care my baby has no insurance and I can’t pay for it through get covered nj because they said we qualify for family care so I’m just stuck.

I went to the Morristown Medical Center and the people at the financial aid office helped me apply for it, received my card in about two weeks.

unfortunately it takes a long time. it took them 2 months to cover me and my daughter i ended up having to take her to a free clinic

It takes them forever. We sent in our documents they asked for & they claimed they never got it so our coverage expired and then it took months for them to process the documents we resubmitted. We finally have our account active again but our sons actual insurance coverage doesn’t register in any system until fucking December still 🙃 AND this is our experience while having a close family friend who works in the insurance industry & knows how to get in contact with nj family care & check the status on our account from the inside of the system lol it’s ass.

I applied in early August and got my answer in October. Went into effect 11/1. It takes a while.
