So my daughter opens her door and I have to physically lock her door at night or during her nap or she will open it and destroy the house. But we also still have a baby camera in the room so we can see/ hear her
@Cindy he has a toddler bed so does my 18 month old. He also stopped taking naps after he turned 1. He's always full of adhd especially since he has adhd and he eats all day, my boys have their dad's appetite lol
@Danielle I wanted to do that but we currently stay with my aunt in law since my husband is in the us national guard and he just became a police officer so he isn't around much plus we're saving up for a place but she is very picky on what we can use for example I bought child locks for the fridge and oven and it's adhesive and she refuses to let me use them and she also doesn't let us use drill holes when we hang something she makes us use tape.
This scares me since my 20 month old is trying to open door knobs now. I had to get one of those locking baby gates to keep him in his room or he will get into everything as well. Your not alone Mama. I will say if it gets bad enough you can also do a knob that locks from the outside his room. My god mom had to get a key lock from the inside cause her son would try to escape from the front doors at night. Also if you don’t do bed time baths you can try doing that. We have bath paint and it helps my son get his energy out before bed.
Does he sleep in a crib? Ig you could put a safety lock on the outside of his door like one that rotates so he can’t leave his room. Is there any way to make him more tired during the day? Running around, bigger meals
