Everything in the mouth

When does this phase end? She tries to put anything she can get her hands on in her mouth. She doesn’t play with toys and just gets frustrated trying to stuff them in her mouth resulting in pure anger and shouting! When does this end?

Trying to remember but it lasts a long time like maybe until they start walking?

Oh my gosh! And did yours get super frustrated and enraged by most of the toys not fitting in their mouth or just missing their mouth with them altogether. I feel so bad for her and she’s trying to hard. She also won’t accept my help to get teethers in her mouth. Very independent girly

My first didn’t have great motor skills compared to my June baby. He was able to grab stuff way sooner and loves chewing on teethers and playing with toys way more than my daughter did at this same age. I don’t recall her shouting about stuff not fitting in her mouth

My daughter it lasted until about 2. It’s a sensory thing. The stuffing in the mouth in frustration is more related to lack of coordination and teething. My son does it now. They get better and faster at it! My daughter ate EVERYTHING. I was on the phone with poison control over stupid things like photo paper and biting off fake silver paint on a nail polish bottle cap 😒 these babies will get better! Just ride it out 😊 provide lots of good teething and toys, my son likes the ones that go in the freezer and certain shapes like the teething banana

Mine does the same thing and it cracks me up! He is slowly learning to get things in the right place. He also will do it until I give him just the right toy. With teething sometimes he wants soft and sometimes he wants to literally chew on a wooden toy. But once he has the one he wants he calms down!
