Severely Hard headed

My daughter who is an only child is 2 and does not listen at all until I raise my voice or make her sit down. Like I feel it’s so bad. It’s from the time she wakes up til the time she goes to bed I’m constantly yelling or disciplining. The gentle method just doesn’t work 😩😩😩😩😩 never really did. It’s draining me bad. Sometimes I just am so drained I make her sit in the high chair just so I can catch a break. Any advice?

Im in the same boat but mine screams in his high chair so that's not even a option for me.

The terrible 2s is kinda kicking my butt, but I love seeing my Toddlersaurus, my son's personality come out 😅🤣🥰

Yes! I have to just remember it’s them showing who they are and embracing that🥹 but it’s tough. Bc my daughter if she could……. Would take my purse, my car , my shoes, my wig, and the house keys and tell me to lay down with bluey😂

To all Mamas, I don't know if anyone has told you or not, but no matter what's going on, you're doing a good job and you are a good Mama! There are and will be some rough times while raising a child(ren), but it's more than ok. Take a deep breath if you but if you can't take a few minutes to sit down. Your child loves you so much and learning so much because of your efforts. I applause 👏 and give you your Flowers for Being a Good Mother!

I know it feels like the gentle method isn’t working but it’s truly just the age right now. They’re testing you, having more independence , being bossy and definitely don’t like the word “no” but I think they have big emotions right now and don’t know how to express them 🤷‍♀️ sometimes when I feel overwhelmed we just go for a drive and listen to some music lol
