Break up. Wwyd

So sad me and my partner are breaking up. We have 2 beautiful children a 3 year old and a 6 week old. The decision wasn’t made lightly!!!! The situation is I don’t drive, I live 1hr 30mins from all of my family… Do I move closer to my family for the support and help with a newborn and toddler? Or do I stay here in my current area so my son can still go to the same school, see his friends and not completely turn his life upside down. It’s so bitter sweet as he is absolutely thriving at his preschool and is with a special friend who he’s known since he was 1years old, his dad can pick him up from school etc. Please help/give advice? 😢

Personally I’d stay where I was and let my kids continue to thrive (I’ve done this). Create exciting road trips for the kids to see family! Maybe when it’s time to go to school, you could transition then :)

@Sera Kay ✨ Thanks for your advice! My little one (3yrs old) goes to school next year and the preschool is attached to the school ! Already applied for his place there too next year x

I know support is so important and I really do understand that. I actually moved away from my family when my daughter was 3 to a different state and although it was hard with no support, my daughter thriving in school was the better option. She is 11 now 🤍
