I just want my baby girl here now!!

I’m 38weeks and 4 days and have been having contractions on and off for days now keep thinking it’s the real thing then they stop😭😭 I had my son at 38+3 so this is the longest I’ve officially been pregnant and I just need her here now! I have a two year old and the exhaustion of running around after him is killing me. I just want him to meet his little sister🥲 I really thought I’d have her before I had my son but nope doesn’t always work that way! I’m so worried I’m not going to go into labour spontaneously like I did with my son and end up needing to be induced😅 Anyone else gone further with their second than they did with their first??

Me! 😭 gave birth to my now 17 month old at 37+3 and I’m now 39 weeks exactly with my little girl, still no labour! I even had my bloody show 3 days ago and still nothing 😩 I’m right there with you with the exhaustion of running around after a toddler boy, can’t take much more of this pregnancy! Xx

@Beth hopefully you’ll be having your little girl soon if you had a bloody show! I was so delusional in thinking she would be here before now🥲 it’s so exhausting isn’t it😭

@Jess I really hope so! I’ve been looking into all sorts for trying to naturally get things going but there’s so little evidence, and everything I’ve tried so far hasn’t worked 🤦‍♀️ hope we get to meet our girls soon! Xx

@Beth haha I’ve tried literally everything! Sex, walking, expressing, curry. I even did the miles circuit and nothing so I’m just convinced she’s staying there until I’m like 40+ weeks😅

I feel this. I had my first at 39+1 and looks like I will go past that this time round. It's mentally so tough isn't it!

@Jess the only thing I haven’t tried yet is sex because I’m absolutely dead on my feet 😂 might have to give it a go! X

I had the same for a whole week before I gave birth! On and off and on the actual night before I had him I didn't believe it was real lol. I was 38+6 when they started and gave birth 40 weeks x

Also I had my first at 39 weeks, second at 40+3 and third he came on his due date

@Fiona everyone tells you that you will have your next baby earlier, so that’s been in my head the whole time and going past that has just made it so much more exhausting😅

@Beth well I tried yesterday and nothing so not worth it in my opinion especially since I feel like a whale😭

@Shan I said this to my partner, I’ve been having so many pains and contractions that when it’s the real thing I won’t believe it and probably end up having a home birth😭🤣

@Jess I actually had a home birth but did plan it! Was amazing x

The waiting game is so hard isn't it. I'm 38+2 and just so fed up and inpatient to meet her. I've not had any signs at all. Fingers crossed our little ones will be here soon

@Jess exactly. I've been telling myself that baby will come when it is ready the whole way but no amount of mental prep helps here
