@Katia On due date, contractions STARTED at 5 mins apart and stayed there for 12 hours. 2cm only. Argued with the Dr. for 6 hours, refusing pitocin. They tried to convince me that was the only way to assist me. Resident chief was called and everything. Agreed to break my water. Went from 2cm to baby in 2.5 hours. Got to 8cm and was CRYING for the anesthesiologist to pump me with drugs. They didn’t make it. 😂 They were busy in the OR. ATP, everybody and their momma was a whore. Lol. Including both my doulas. By far the craziest things I have ever done. Yet I feel I can run a marathon this morning. P.S. Get a doula. Get two!
@Mary I started getting what felt like period cramps, weeks before. But they were so mild, I thought they were phantom cramps lol. The night before, they really started around 8pm, so i thought it was preparing me and went to sleep. I lost a little mucus days before but most of it came out in labor
