I'm due to have baby number 2 in 2 weeks' time, and I'm more scared this time around because I know what's coming, I was cool as a cucumber with my first, haha

I went into labour for a few hours with baby 1 (was meant to have an elective section so had to wait for an emergency slot) and tbh it wasn’t that bad for me. Baby 2 is coming in 12 days via another section and tbh I’m really excited. I’ve done it now and don’t have any fears xx

If you asked me this before baby number 2 I would’ve said yes. Now I have had my second, and having no complications this time around, I don’t think I would ever be scared of labour again. Trust your body 🫶🏻

i’ve honestly never been scared of labor. trust your body and your baby. i know it’s easier said than done

I'm due next month, I won't say I'm scared but apprehensive, especially as you don't know when it will happen. I have a 4yo too, so need to be sure he will be care for when I give birth to my second. I'm also hoping to have similar birth, unmedicated, no tearing, wuite quick. I had a hard time to identify I was in labour with my first, so also hoping I'll manage this better

I was very scared whilst pregnant with my first so I did hypnobirthing (highly recommend this btw). I have gone on to have very positive and calm labours (albeit with the help of an epidural).. it’s what comes after having the baby that is scary for me!

@Marie I’m due 20th of January , not gonna lie but I’m shitting it and this will be my 5th baby x

Did you have bad experience with your previous birth? I agree with another comment about hypnobirthing if you haven't tried that yet. But it's also normal to feel scared, even if you done it before...hopefully all will go well

I want to hear from the women saying no 😭

I had an easy birth with my 1st one, but I’m still scared AF to have my second in a couple weeks
