My blood pressure last week was 152/102 and I got sent home from hospital as my bloods came back normal they do take it very seriously mines came down eventually x
Thank you I had hypertension in my first pregnancy but only started in labour so hoping they do take this seriously but she’s said to me on the phone the readings are not that worrying
That’s positive then just keep an eye on it and call them back if anything changes x
Well she still wanted me to go in as said it’s high 😂🙈 don’t think they are going to take it as seriously as they should
Thankfully I did come, protein has been found in my urine too x

Your community midwife wouldn’t be able to do anything other than send you to triage anyway, that should be where you ring in the first instance.
This happened to me 2.5 weeks ago at 37 weeks and a day. Suddenly my readings were going over 140/90 so I went to triage. Basically I never went home - Got diagnosed with pregnancy related hypertension and deemed very high risk for pre eclampsia so was admitted for 2 days on blood pressure meds, then decision to induce on day 3. They take it very seriously so please don’t dismiss it as just annoying! It can be really dangerous
