Working.

I’ve been out of work for the entirety of our marriage. We have been married over 5 years and out of 5 years I’ve worked for around 4/5 months. I got pregnant early on 2020 and because of Covid was put on furlough, then maternity leave for my first child and then had another child nearly straight away. Left my job at the airport as it wouldn’t accommodate to childcare times I’ve been looking after my children for 4 years and we live in my MILs renovated garage. My husband jokingly told me that we’re in this situation because of me and that I need to find a job. As a mother and wife done everything that my kids and husband have needed but it’s not good enough as I don’t bring money to the table. I’m so hurt by it. Anyway. Anyone know of any jobs in Stratford or even WFH jobs.

DWP are looking at the moment some are hybrid roles I’m so sorry you are experiencing this sending you hugs

I find it crazy how men, usually men that we love will go to the extent of wanting children with us, we give everything away for the family and they have the cheek to think that "we do not do anything". I would honestly tell him how it is: are you not fed ? Aren't your clothes clean ? Aren't all the kids taken care of ? He may bring the money to the house but YOU created and kept the HOME intact. It's a partnership... As the comment above, I work in the public service and they are quite flexible with hours and WFH/office balance especially if you have children. The application can be quite long, but I find it worth it and secure as you are taken care of better than in some private companies. Of course it will depend from company to company as well, and what you are looking for. Good luck !

Are you good at social media marketing? X

@Valeen I’ve never done it. But willing to give it a go!
