I struggled with this (no previously, thankfully - just general anxiety) someone commented this: https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer it helped me so maybe it will you?
@Kirsten ah that is actually very reassuring. Thank you for taking the time to reply! Friday can’t come quick enough xx
@Hannah omg this is the best tool ever. Firmly going to be my most visited website I think now. Thank you!!
Congratulations!
Hi Sarah! I know exactly how you feel. Had a scan last Thursday after having a miscarriage in May. My previous due date was 3rd of January and I remember how excited I was about being pregnant during the holidays and so close to meeting the baby. So now it’s bittersweet since I am indeed pregnant but only because I lost the other baby. But it has helped me to talk to people. Just talk, with no goal in mind and just not bottle it up or pretend nothing happened. I’m also on progesterone since my last scan at 7 weeks and have another scan next Thursday when I’ll be 9 weeks and 3 days. Sending you lots of love and positive vibes ❤️
@Sarah its alright, somehow just putting some info in really helps calm you. Hope that your 9 week scan goes well, youll be amazed at how fast they grow (from someone whos just had a 16w reassurance scan)❤️
@Sarah I think it’s part and parcel of the process. I’ve not had any previous losses or bleeding but I’ve been wracked with anxiety about something going wrong the whole time. If you ever want to vent or have someone who knows how you’re feeling feel free to drop me a message!
@Cleo hey! Oh wow, yeah really similar scenarios. It’s a funny feeling isn’t it… sending you all the positivity too. This is our time! ❤️
@Hannah it really does! I’m already planning a private scan on 23rd December as I don’t think I can wait until our 12 week scan on 8th January!
@Kirsten thank you. That’s really lovely of you. It’s a wild wild ride isn’t it!
I did the same, whatever helps put you at ease! It also helps you bond with baby so definitely worth it!
@Sarah we are booking the exact same date as our scan is also 8th January! We lost our baby in late July through mmc so are also really anxious xx
@P it’s such a scary time isn’t it! I’m trying to relax and enjoy it but finding it hard! Sending all the love and hope to you. Have you had a private scan at all or will you? X
Aw I feel you lovely! I had a miscarriage in October this year & I’m now 7 weeks. I got an early scan at 6 weeks & saw the heartbeat & felt relief for a bit! I have another scan with the EPU for 18/12 as at my appointment last week, I was shaking with nerves so they booked me in again! I’m still on edge, I try to take each day as it comes but some days my anxiety just won’t go & I’m scared to enjoy my pregnancy incase anything is wrong😔 it’s so horrible because I should be so overjoyed but that miscarriage has stole my joy! I’m also on progesterone so I’m hoping this helps the chances for us both🙏🏼 Wishing you lots of luck! One day, we’ll be saying how fast this time went & how much we miss being pregnant when our little ones arrive🥰🫶🏼

@Jennifer that’s exactly it. Scared to enjoy it! Though I am trying to! Friday can’t come soon enough for my scan. I just need some reassurance! X
@Sarah we've had two due to me panicking so much. We got to hear their heartbeat two weeks ago which really reassured me and they were measuring slightly larger xxx
@P oh that’s so lovely. Yes I can’t wait for my next scan on Friday just for some reassurance. I’ll be 9 weeks by then so hoping to see some good growth! X
@Sarah that’s amazing to hear!! So happy for you and hopefully this gives you a bit more confidence in this pregnancy! ❤️❤️
Hi so apparently research says that once you reach the 6th/7th week of pregnancy and a heartbeat has been detected the risk of miscarriage significantly drops to around 10% and after week 8 of pregnancy it drops to 2% so hopefully that’s reassuring. Congratulations on your beautiful little one ❤️
