I am Scared to give birth

Hey girl, knowledge is power, I was sitting it too but the more I learned the more confident I felt and I'm now planning a home birth with my first. Our bodies are meant for labour, read up on "positive births" and listen to the "Doula podcast" xx

If you’re planning a natural birth then definitely look into educational ways of making it go smoother because it is totally possible to go through it, women have been doing it for centuries. You got this 💪🏻 If you’re planning to get an epidural (I did) you literally don’t feel a thing. You can get it as early as you want (don’t let them tell you otherwise) and from there it’s smooth sailing. I basically just went on social media, hung out with my husband, napped, etc. and then when it was time to push I was super nervous at first but I didn’t feel a thing and the midwives were so nice and just joking around with me and getting to know me literally in the middle of me giving birth lol

I was scared too! But after taking some birthing classes I had a different perspective on giving birth. I use to see it as something terrifying but now I see it as pushing out a human being i cannot wait to meet 🥹 find ways to lighten this situation. Yes it will be painful and yes it might not go as planned but see that it’ll all be worth it & temporary once they’re here 😌
