@Katherine thank you but I’ve always been like that so for me it’s not linked to GD or diabetes in general
The only other alternative is at home finger pricking. You can speak to your midwife about it
when i was pregnant with my first i had to have testing because she was measuring big (she wasn’t i just had excess fluid) and my dad was diabetic so i was at higher risk. i told them i couldn’t do the drink, i wouldn’t be able to keep it down and because it was during covid they offered me a blood test instead. they took 3 different blood tests and gave me a little machine to take home and monitor my blood sugars before and after meals for a week. all came back okay and i didn’t develop GD, so maybe ask for this instead
I had the one of these, I felt exactly the same. I think needing the little and often foods is a classic sign of GD cuz I ended up having it 🙄 I just put up with it, but I brought my husband which I’m really glad for, because I felt massively poorly from it, and was in bed all day after it- which obviously is a classic sign you have it too. But def worth doing the test. So I’d say, try and bear it and take someone to drive / support you
