Placenta Previa

Currently 26 weeks, was told at my 20 week anomaly scan I have a low lying placenta blocking the baby canal/cervix. I was told not to worry but they asked if I’ve had previous C-Section which technically I have. Even though this is my first pregnancy I’ve had a surgery last year due to an accident puncturing my stomach with incision exactly like a C-section so medically speaking yes I’ve had this operation. Should I be worried ? Even though they say it moves later but for those with previous c-section chances are less of it moving ? Anyone else had a second pregnancy with a previous C-section and did your placenta move from the lower position ?

In mosts cases the placenta moves up. I had it quite bad and it moved 100% out of the way. Having a c section would be if the previous surgery you had had anything to do with your uterus. Like opening and then closing and that leaving you with a scar there, not just in your abdomen 😙

I had placenta previa in my first pregnancy and it never moved so I had to have a c section. This pregnancy the placenta is fine and high.

@Denise good to have hope, but yeah it did open up my uterus due to internal bleeding they had to begin from there and go all the way up to my rib cage I had terrible internal bleeding. They had to drain it all and suture the places where the tissue had ripped. It was a freak accident.
