More scared for each labor?

Does anyone else get more nervous about delivery the more times they do it? This will be my 3rd baby and I'm honestly the most scared I've ever been to give birth. I have 2 young kids who need me and I'm the only one that can take care of them. Even though, thankfully, I've had two perfect labors, I'm more and more terrified each time. I'm not scared in the moment because all I can think about is the pain and getting the baby out, but every day leading up to it, I pray and pray to not let me die. All the possible complications that can happen absolutely scare me. Is this normal? Does anyone else experience this too?

It’s exciting to me. I love giving birth and how different it can be. I have a friend that gets scared and has multiples. I’ve had other friend express fear so it’s a valid concern. Have you considered using a doula? They are so amazing

@Nichelle i have considered a doula but can't afford one 😩 i don't think my hospital offers any services like that either

Please read Ina Mae's Guide to Childbirth. You can have an amazing birth! Your body is amazing!

I’m on my second kid and honestly more scared about labor than I was for my first! I know how you’re feeling but remember this is literally what our bodies are made to do!
