Belly pop after miscarriage

Stupid question maybe. But they say for a second kid your belly pops out faster; even in week 9 or 10. Is that also the case if you had a previous miscarriage at week 8? I’m at week 10 now and my belly is popping, quite certain it isn’t only bloat. It’s hard and round. Thoughts?

I had 4 previous miscarriages, one as late as 10 weeks, and my first pregnancy that stuck I definitely popped early but a lot of it was bloat. I popped HARD though the second I hit the 2nd trimester. At 18 weeks I was mistaken for "any day now" pregnant according to some lady at the grocery store. I'm pregnant again and have looked pregnant since 9 weeks due to bloat, and now that I'm 17 weeks I feel huge again already.

I don’t think it makes much difference as your uterus has been stretched that much by 8 weeks but it could maybe. In all honesty it could be gas/constipation/bloat it’s non stop throughout now 🙃. Or could just be how your body carries the pregnancy x

This wasn't the case for me after miscarriage, I didn't really pop until week 20 and am pregnant now with our second child and again it was around week 20. I think it depends how you carry and your pre pregnancy figure too

I had two miscarriages before my pregnancy with my daughter, and didn’t ‘pop’ until around week 18-20. I’m now pregnant with my son, and popped much earlier and was very visibly pregnant by about 10 weeks.

No two person will carry on the same way. No even 2 pregnancies in the same person. The body shape, weight, hips, placenta position, everything has an influence how big you get. I am almost 35 weeks and everyone believe I just put on weight or I am only 24 weeks. I had 2 miscarriages around 8 weeks each and still did not show until week 17-20 a tiny bump. I wish I had a big belly, but everyone says it is more difficult to do anything. Don’t stress yourself, enjoy the experience 🤗

Thank you everyone for all the replies. This really helps to hear everyone’s experiences. I guess it might just be bloat then. Just amazing since it’s daily the same size and like hard. Only time will tell I guess. Thanks again!
