Should I be concerned or…

I have a 17 month old. Very smart little girl, knows her abcs, can count to 10, know all her animal sounds and just very smart all around but, every so often she does something new that just makes me concerned and question like… is this normal? Is she going to be on the spectrum. Usually it’s like something new she learns and she does it constantly for like a week or two then stops. Recently she’s learned no and yes, but she’s learned the head movements and has been frequently shaking her head no, out of the blue just no. So random. She casually walking and will just shake her head no a few times, but also has started to stutter a few words as well. Not all, usually they are just to the point, she loves Elmo but for the past few months it’s just been ELMO! Now it’s E E E Elmo , or uh uh up. Should I be concerned because… I am. She talks very well too so for this to happen out of no where… I’m concerned

This sounds a lot like my girl who is just a month or less younger. Dunno if it’s normal but she’s not the only one. And exact same thing with Elmo!

My daughter is a month older and she’s pretty similar in terms of yes/no. She just says “no no” and shakes her head pretty often.

She may just be trying out vowels and consonants and seeing how they sound. For an information.... There is an autism screening at the next big visit, the 18 months

Don’t be concerned stuttering is a normal part of development and it comes as toddlers start to learn more words everything sound like normal development I wouldn’t be concerned.

I think it's their way of practicing vowels. Mine does a a apple or the exact same thing with e e elmo or up up up high. Super smart, everything I've read says it's normal for them to be obsessed with something new for a week or two and drop it most likely when they learn something else to obsess over.
