I feel like I'm taking "eating for two" too far

Anyone else feel like they can't stop eating? Before I was pregnant I ate really healthy and played rugby so I was quite fit. I was at a really healthy weight for my bmi ect. Now I can't seem to stomach healthy food and I'm constantly craving and eating junk 😬 I'm waking up every two hours to pee anyway but I'm constantly waking up intensely hungry! I'm also finding I'm to tired to do any exercise that's not walking the dogs. It's my first baby and I'm worried I'm doing all the wrong things for the baby 😔

I'm the same! I was tracking all my food before and going to the gym 3x a week and now I also can't stop eating snacks and have to force myself to eat a vegetable 🥲 I assume it's totally common and it's the one time in life where you kind of have the excuse and the 'fcuk it' mentality but I do worry too that the baby isn't getting the right nutrients. Can you try maybe having healthy veggie soup for lunch or incorporate fruit and berries into your breakfast so you're at least getting some nutrients?

I’m exactly the same. I was a runner and ran 3-4 times a week. I never had a sweet tooth and found to very easy to eat healthy. Now I can’t! I can’t stomach salad and veg plus they just don’t fill me up like a big fat burger would 😅 also I can’t go a day without chocolate. When people say, just eat healthy hasn’t been pregnant and had intense cravings. I’m in the mind set that you crave what your body needs and I have been taking the pregnancy vitamins throughout. As long as you’re not eating things you shouldn’t (as advised from your midwife), I’m sure you and baby will be completely fine.

Same here. Before getting pregnant I ran average 24k a week and went to the gym twice a week. I’m hardly doing anything atm and eating anything and everything I want 😂 the horrid taste I get in my mouth is after eating anything savoury so I have to eat something sweet after, because if I brush my teeth after eating I just throw up xx
