Gestational diabetes test
Anyone not been able to complete the test? Did you have to do it again?
I’m 27 weeks and had my GDT today
Got through most of the wait and my body was like nope and threw it all up (sorry for the TMI)

No they couldn’t take a second lot. The nurse found out I puked and had to send me home. I was 20 mins away from getting them done! 😩
@Rebecca Oh that’s so frustrating! like I said, most likely will need to go in again, but I wouldn’t stress too much! if you can it might be easier for you to stay there rather than leaving (if you did leave) and maybe even take an ipad/tablet/phone and headphones to pass the time quicker and not think about it ❤️

Did they take your bloods again after the wait? If they did then it may be possible that it didn’t affect the test. If they didn’t do your bloods then you’ll likely have to do it again as they haven’t actually got any of the info they needed ❤️ but it is always possible that your fasting bloods were enough to diagnose GD if they were significantly higher than they were supposed to be, but it won’t have been enough to rule it out, if they were normal, I don’t think. ❤️
