Hitting! 🙃
Is anyone else’s LO started hitting we’ve turned 16months and they’ve started hitting at nursery and when told no they do it again. Anyone got any tips on how to manage this, they just find it funny instead of realising it’s bad! 😭

@Claire honestly she thinks it’s a game I feel so bad for the children at nursery I fear terrible 2s are here early 😭
My little boy got really bad with this when starting nursery, and would even say ‘hit’ as he hit. He used to find it really funny but now I say really stern no, and pick him up and move him away from me quite fast so it shocks him. Seems to work as he tries to come for a cuddle and gets upset and stops it straight away.
We've had this past few days. Today was just constant slapping and hair pulling, the more I said no the more he found it funny. Tried stern voice and taking few steps back but he thinks it's a game
