Kissing..

Hi everyone So to get straight to the point...my partner doesn't make that kiss 'sound' when he kisses me on the lips. He just places his lips on mine and then walks away. He's always done this and it became a bit of a running joke as to why he didn't do it, but (and I know this is VERY different) when he kisses our children or even his mum on the cheek when we visit, he will make the sound lol (again - I know the kisses are different. Let's not get weird!). He doesn't make out with me atall, and those little pecks I get when he gets home from work are noiseless ones 🤣 Whats going on please? Like I say, he's been like this our whole relationship so I can't be annoyed as its not like its a sudden change in behaviour, but it's only just started bothering me. Together 8 years! X

The sound is playful. I just had to think about it, and I don’t think I make them with my guy. It’s more like sensual than playful. But I was actually listening to the radio not long ago and there was a girl who called complaining about their man not making out with them and people called in to comment and I was surprised how many people called in, both male and female, stating they just hating making out. One couple was together 3 years and didn’t ever make out and barely kissed. It just wasn’t for them. Talk to him about it and don’t make any assumptions. Maybe he just doesn’t like making out.

I think it’s just out of habit. My husband sometimes does this too. I started saying “I want a 6 second kiss!” (Look up a 6 second kiss..there is science behind it), so we do that sometimes too. Idk, I think the key is saying you really want a little more sometimes. Hopefully he’ll respect that!
