Walking

How long did it take for your baby to start walking since standing up unsupported? My baby is 11 months old, he is furniture walking since 8 months old and since 10 months old he can stand up unsupported for a long time but he still doesn’t walk unsupported. How long did it take for your babies since they start doing that?

It took ages. So we began furniture walking at 11 months old, took a couple of steps at 12 months old, but he was 14 months old before he started walking. Try giving him something to hold in each hand and set him off. That’s how I got mine going x

@Emma awww I feel he is so close but is not confident enough yet🥲 I’ve tried giving him something to hold but he sits down and starts playing or biting it😅 xx

Almost 16mo and not walking independently. Walks really well holding our hands or with his push walker. Has been cruising, climbing and standing by himself for months. There's plenty of time yet for your 11mo. 15-18mo is the normal range for walking.

He was cruising since 10 months old and start walking independently a bit before turning 14 months.

A while! My little one started standing in her own at 9 or 10 months. She’s 13 months now and still will only walk if you hold her hand
