Thank you for responding I really appreciate it, she was okay after an hour nap drank lots of water and gave her plain food just banana and toast for light dinner and she was so happy playing and bath splashing, then drank some milk before bed and vomited all the milk up and the dinner 😭 Another massive clean up and gave her just water and put her to bed. She is teething but not too bad right now like I didnt have to give her medicine since 4 days ago… normally when its so bad she is crying a lot but she seems happy today
I’m sorry you’re going through this 🥺 it’s hard when they’re sick! Something I really struggle with 😢
Thank you love its so worrying because they cant tell us what is going on 😔😔😔
My anxiety is through the roof when they are sick. I often go to the GP just for reassurance. Do you have a thermometer to check their temp? They might have a fever which can cause them to vomit. Or maybe a stomach bug? Sounds like your doing all the right things by giving them water and plain foods xx
@Katie Ive been the same we have probably had to visit 8 times already in 1 year with different colds flus bad constipation stomach bug etc. I do I checked and it said normal but Im not sure because she seemed a little warm so I gave some nurofen shes woken twice now since 8.30pm but I expect shes hungry but Im too scared to give more milk, I think its gonna be a long night. Im so sad so close to christmas and her birthday party as well we already had so many sicknesses I pray its not another one 😭😔
Hang in there mumma! My little boy had a bad gastrointestinal bug a few weeks back, he was projectile vomiting everything up, especially milk. We ended up visiting hospital on the third day day as his blood sugar was super low and he was dehydrated from not being able to keep anything down ☹️ they were really lovely and helpful so I’m glad we went and so were they, he just happened to get it bad, but some don’t get bugs too bad! My niece caught it (10m old) and was sick 5 times and a few bad nappies in about 24 hours then fine again. Hopefully it will pass quickly, stick to bland foods and you can offer them water in a syringe if you can’t get it into them, this worked for us on advice from the hospital xx
How did your little one sleep? Hopefully you all got some rest. It feels 100% heightened when it's through the night. X
@Katie not too good but not the worst- no more sicks since 8.30pm 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 she was crying a lot through the night and waking with hunger so I gave a little rice cracker and then 2 x 70ml milk through the night to help her settle, she woke a few times but finally slept a little bit til now… she seems happy, I gave another her small milk just now so I will wait and see what happens. Thank you soo much for asking as you normally just worry alone 😔❤️
I don't think that would have made them sick. My daughter vomits when she has a fever and/or teething 🤷♀️ how are they now??
