Using frozen veg

I hardly buy fresh vegetable as I don’t have a massive fridge and they don’t last long. Can you cook frozen vegetable to start weaning your baby?

Yes, you can 😊

@Sophie would you just cook it as normal? I’ve seen with unfrozen veg it’s best to steam

Yes! Steam, roast, boil, microwave, so many good ways to cook frozen veggies!

Yes, and just cook it however you want to 😊

I usually steam our frozen veg in a Tupperware in the microwave 😊 steaming is generally the best way to cook veg as it preserves more of the nutrients, but when weaning it's more about getting baby used to eating solid food, they're still getting their nutrition from their milk, so it doesn't matter all that much

I use frozen veg and tinned veg! Tinned potatoes are far easier then fresh potatoes
