Idk what to do any more.

My son is 13 months almost 14 months and for the life of me i can not get him to stop hitting me or the dogs he's got some muscle for a toddler so sometimes it does hurt especially when he uses a toy, or spoon or anything else he gets his hands on... he doesn't go to daycare yet and I would like this to stop before he does..

Read this. I read it the other day and it actually helped me hope it helps you!

This is how we answered to hitting, 1) let your toddler know you are not ok with them hitting, bery simply explain why: it hurts mama 2) if he wants to do it again remove yourself from the situation, walk away, or stand up if you were at his level 3) distract and give an exemple of where can he get his energy out or something else to hit ! It wont always work it normal I think toddlers need you to repeat 300+ time the same thing to learn it 😅 They will naturally test limits And they dont understand "dont" Dont hit mummy will sound to them as "hit mummy" instead you could try, something like: can you show me how to be gentle? Keep your hands away from me please, that hurts mummy, hum what can we do instead hit the pillow , lets try

Good advice
