How often (if ever) do you give your LO treats like custard, ice cream etc?

Sometimes we'll have a treat after dinner and I usually give my toddler berries instead. Occasionally we'll give him reduced sugar custard. He has had ice cream at his grandparents house a couple times but I've never given him it. I'm wondering how often you offer these types of foods?

Special occasions like family meals out, parties etc. Otherwise he just has fruit and yogurt for pud!

Not very often to be honest! Our daughter typically has a yoghurt after her meal or some fruit. I do occasionally give a teeny vanilla muffin if we have them in, but we don’t tend to (mostly as I’d scoff them all 🤣).

I do not give any added sugar to my LO and plan not to do so until she is at least 5 y.o.

I never have. I'm doing zero sugar until she's 2. However I make sugar free puddings from scratch maybe once or twice a month?

Very rarely really! Our parents tend to be the treat givers every now and then which i’m fine with.
