@Megan I know people say oh the “terrible twos” but my little one isn’t naughty all the time. She’s doing well all things considered but the tantrums aren’t fun at all. We are trying to set clear boundaries but it’s tough
Oh yeah we are living this too. He throws himself on the floor and everything. Cries more than my 3 month old. But is also amazing and leaning soooo quickly. It's definitely quite chaotic.
@Marianne honestly it’s crazy how smart my toddler is, knows how to reach stuff she wants and is scarily independent. But anytime we tell her no or she doesn’t get her own way it’s horrific. We have started using boundaries like 2 choices for what to watch then tv goes off and using her room as a time out space (has a baby gate and is her safe space so great when she has tantrums) x
Yes we’re in the same boat! My little girl is in the habit of asking for something and then when you give it to her she says “not want it” you take it away and she says “want it” … pretty annoying!! 🤦🏻♀️
We are also struggling with some new meltdowns and apparent indecisiveness 🫠
I was reading this a laughing because you’re literally describing my 2 year old. She asked me for a cheese string today and started crying when I opened it for her, threw her dinner on the floor before she even took a bite, put an peeled orange inside her bodysuit right after I gave her a bath , said no to me 100x and just smiled and ignored me everytime I told her to stop doing something … 🫠😂😂
Definitely an age thing. my son does this but seems like when he misbehaves it’s when he’s bored or tired or hungry. With my phone, he does try to push phone out of our hands if we are on it too long in-front of him. Maybe try and out it down far away so your not on it as much.
Yup we've had a bad day today! Tantrum after tantrum after tantrum! It must surely be a phase? Not a very nice phase :( x
