Baby wants very little milk
My girl is 12.5 weeks and for the past 6 weeks she just isn’t interested in her milk. She is formula fed and used to take 4oz every 2.5-3 hours. But the last 6 weeks it’s slowly been getting less and less. She just never seems hungry. I have tried lengthening the time between feeds but it makes no difference she’ll have 1-2oz and then just stop. She sleeps 8-10 hours at night before stiring and even after going that long she’ll only have 1-2oz again, then not take anymore for a further 4-5 hours. I really don’t know what to do. She’s happy and alert when she is awake.

@Samirah she has been seen by both GP and HV and she is perfectly fine within herself. They have just said she will take what she needs. 🤷🏼♀️
Is she losing weight?
@Sofi she isnt losing but isnt really gaining either
Hmm well you could look at the her growth chart in her red book - if she starts dropping centiles like the projected weight for her then you know that she's gaining enough weight and then GP and HV would be more concerned maybe? Zx
@Sofi she’s dropped from the 25th to the 4th but HV and GP said that is just her finding her place on the graph. She has stayed on the 4th for the last few weeks

Contact your GP. My little boy was the same he was having 4oz every 2 hours and he suddenly started having 1oz every 4/5 hours which concerned me a lot and was very sleepy. Turned out he was RSV positive. Best to get her checked out x
