Fussy eater

Anyone else’s 13m suddenly very fussy eater and refusing meal times? He doesn’t even drink a lot of milk 😭 All he likes to eat is pasta and blueberries (and sometimes croissants) 😂 He used to be a fairly good eater before! I’ve heard some of it can be genetic? 🤣 my mum says I used to be such a tricky eater too (ironically I love food now 😂)

Yes! I think it’s pretty common around this age tbh x

@Yasmin I guess that’s reassuring, but it’s quite deflating just watching them eat empty calories :/

I go by the division of responsibility. It’s my job to provide healthy balanced meals/ snacks. It’s LO’s job to decide what of that they want to eat. Like every phase they’ll come out the other side, just keep offering fruit/ veg etc alongside foods you know they’ll eat x

Yep! We are going through this phase at the moment. Most things get chucked on the floor. I make sure I serve it with something I know he likes and if all else fails, he has toast and we start again tomorrow. Hoping it will be over as quickly as it started!

@Harriet @Yasminoh gosh, are they drinking sufficient milk too? Mine isn’t doing that either :/

My LO is still breastfed and nurses throughout the night and before naps so we have that at least x

He’s on 2 bottles a day now and probably has 14oz in total
