@Josie wow that's great she is doing much better! Thank you. It's just so disheartening. He is surviving on toast, milk and fruit pouches at the moment. I will keep persisting
@Ru honestly from September until November my girl was surviving on milk, toast, cheese and cereal just the last 2/3ish weeks she’s turned a corner so it will happen will just take a bit of time. Does he go to nursery? If he does is there any foods he eats? We tried to make sure we had those fruits in and if she showed interest in fruits in the shop let her pick it and put it in the trolley
@Josie thanks for the encouragement. Fingers crossed it will improve. Yes he does go to nursery and he will eat tinned fruit there! I've tried the same at home but nope. He is still fussy in general there too. Sometimes eats no lunch at all
@Ru our hv recommended a snack tray (divider plate) of things you’d like them to try and just leave it in the living room for them to come across that helped to so they were out of the environment of eating something and more like curious of what’s this
@Josie that's a fab idea actually! I think sometimes it's too pressured in the high chair
@Ru it’s really helped and she even ate a sprout at nursery the other day and she demanded banana for breakfast, I also give her fork/spoon for fruit as she’s not a big fan on using her hands
I can relate my lg is such a fussy eater and perseverance is key just to keep offering but not make a fuss of it if they don’t. We seem to of turned a corner in the last couple of weeks where she’s choosing actually fruit over pouch fruit. She’s eaten roast potatoes, sprouts curry, chicken she’s still fussy but she’s starting to eat meals again
