@Kirsty I was originally thinking oh I’m not worried it’s only a few days but now it’s been two weeks I don’t know what to do he just won’t eat actual food x
Same. We've had it all in this house. Tonsillitis, double ear infection. Antibiotics now diahorrea which has lasted ages. He has a bottle in the morning and evening. Weetabix for breakfast. Lunch, he is fussy and just snacks. Dinner he is not really eating solids. So I have had to go back to soft foods at the moment. 😕 x
I’ve just commented on another very similar post to this. Just to add as well the doctor said they are seeing viral infections lasting a lot longer than usual so three weeks ish - My LO was the same a couple of weeks ago, she barely ate for over two weeks but drank milk and water. I took her to the doctors and asked if i should be concerned and they said as long as they are hydrated and having wet nappies then their appetite will come back eventually (which it did). The nursery bugs are mental. My LO started in September and I’ve lost count how many viral infections she’s had alongside the two sickness bugs 🤢😓 x
Have you got my son in your house too cus that’s exactly how my son is right now, normally he’s amazing at eating but not since he’s came down with a cold, for lunch I’ve been making him pancakes and blueberries 🫐 and for tea yesterday I made him something and he wouldn’t eat it so I put some nuggets in the air fryer and he actually ate those ,tonight’s he’s had abit of sausage mash and onion gravy ,he ate enough not as much as he normally would but aslong as his fluids are up I’m not too worried about food x
