My baby thinks shes a snow man

She detests being warm. So much so I found my self with a screaming baby when I was out and I knew it was because I’d dared to put a thinly knitted cardigan over the top of her baby grow. She’d never in a million years put up with those fluffy onesies or snow suits. The other night we had to take her for a pram walk because she wouldn’t go to sleep and we knew what she wanted, which was to be cold. So we buckled and took her out with just her baby grow on and the foot muff attached for a little bit of shelter for her. She’s screams if I put socks on and often have to remove them in public and I get funny looks from people. I worry she’s gonna get me into trouble one day as it gets even colder, people will be thinking I’m a bad mum. We have the house cool and even me and my husband can be shivering with our thick hoodies on but she’s at her happiest, if the house goes above 19•C we have hell on. I’m sick of it and I’m sick of the only way to calm her down is by standing in the garden. Shes bonkers!!! Any other snow babies out there? ⛄️

My little girl hates being wrapped up. She tolerates a snow suit when outside, but I have noticed that she really doesn’t like to have layers on. I feel awful sometimes for taking her out in a baby grow (vest underneath). I put her in a blanket and she just kicks it off x

Sounds all too familiar. My daughter can only be comfortable in a vest and sleepsuit in sling/ pram. She hates hats and cardigans. I haven’t dared to put her in a pram suit yet lol. She stretches to get her head out of the sling and likes to feel the wind/ cold even though she loses her breath with it and struggles. Whenever I’ve put her in a knitted set outfit in the sling or pram I noticed heat rashes appearing. I guess they just run warmer than the average 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so glad I’m not alone 😅 It’s embarrassing. I’m sat with my big thick duvet coat on whilst out for a walk and little missy is outside no hat, no gloves, taking a bottle on park benches with just a vest and baby grow. I don’t get how someone so small wouldn’t want to feel protected from the elements 🤷🏼‍♀️
