Does he have a point

Does he have a point or do you think his over reacting ? So I live on the 3rd floor and when you look out of my front room and bedroom windows all you can see is the opposite flat same rooms as mine My BF is constantly moaning about me having the curtains open even in the day There isn’t much natural light as it is Last night I had my curtain slightly open where my back door is his cone home from work and kicked off saying Shall we shut it or shall we let everyone have a look I said nobody would seee much anyway as it’s only open a little bit everyone dressed in the flat we ain’t doing anything wrong etc and his gone off on one saying you don’t know what people are doing opposite I see something the other night you wouldn’t want the kids seeing probably not but what can I do can’t control what other people do It’s not just this that his like this about It’s too much.

Definitely over reacting….why does he care so much??? Is he worried the neighbors saw him peeping at them getting it on??? This is weird.

@Amanda haha yeah init maybe that’s what it is There nothing I can do about the flats opposite I mean they may potentially looking into mine but so what long as I’m not naked I don’t see the issue Sounds like he just wants to be funny or controlling prob abit of both

My husband is the same way he swears people are looking in our house. I just close them before he comes home

I would not have them open

My husband hates when the curtains are open, even during the day. We’re on the first floor. He just shut them and when I come out, I’d notice it’s closed. I just be like, really babe? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 He would just say, he doesn’t like having them open because people be lurking in, ect,. I’m like, who’s gonna look in when it’s daylight out? You can’t even see anything from the outside unless you’re really looking 👀 We also have blackout curtains. If you were to come into our apartment, you’d be saying we’re living like vampires 🤣

He might just be trying to be protective, I wouldn’t take it too harshly. Maybe you could invest in a one way mirror type thing or maybe cover up with some homemade stained glass stuff so there’s still light coming through but you can’t see through?

https://amzn.eu/d/iaDU9pN you can get this… privacy without sacrificing light
